Steve Jobs (February 24, 1955 - October 5, 2011)

Yesterday the world lost a great man. He was a visionary that made possible much of the technology we all use on a daily basis, but that isn't why he was so amazing. He started the leading animation studio in the world, but again, that isn't what made him so remarkable.

Steve Jobs was remarkable not for what he brought into the world through technology, but what he was able to leave in the world because of that very technology he invented. He was a man that was passionate about passion. There isn't much I can say about him that hasn't already been said, nor could I say it as eloquently I'm sure. I have watched Steve Jobs's Stanford commencement ceremony speech from 2008 several times and it always touches me. Sergej emailed it to me to watch again last night and once again it touched me. Steve Jobs had such a charisma for life that we should all be so lucky to embrace. Here is that video. Stay hungry. Stay Foolish. RIP Steve Jobs.
